I recently had the pleasure of getting a tattoo cover-up done at Immortal Tattoos by the incredibly talented artist, Manav. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional.

Manav's expertise and creativity truly shine through in his work. He approached covering my previous tattoo with such intelligence and creativity that I was absolutely amazed by the result. Being an Australian citizen, and after 18 years since my last visit to India, I decided to come back to my roots and see my relatives across India. My cousins who reside in Chandigarh highly recommended me 'Immortal Tattoos' when I asked them the question 'Who is the best studio in Chandigarh'. I'm so glad they did.

The moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by an exceptionally friendly team member who was courteous, helpful and listened to my needs and inquiries. After discussing my needs and given a very competitive quote (in fact, half the cost of a different business and Delhi studio, who took advantage of me being a foreigner, and who charged me double of what they initially quoted me!!!),  I booked an appointment for the following week.

On the date of my appointment, I was greeted by Akshay, my artist for the day. Akshay has to be one of the most friendly humans I have ever met, anywhere in the world (and I'm extremely well travelled). He talked me through some of his creative designs based on initial meeting and listened carefully to what I was after. We worked together, and after some time, we had a great understanding and he got to work. His attention to detail, focus and work was nothing short of brilliant. He was extremely humble, and I could read his passion very easily.

The armband came up BRILLIANTLY! He incorporated my dog Nakia is short notice, made it look meaningful, cute and flow with the initial design concept. Akshay is a great human, terrific artist and most definitely an asset to the overall Immortal Tattoo studio. If you ever visit Immortal, do yourself a favour and ask for Akshay. You will not be disappointed. I will be sharing my experience to all my Australian friends, and will also be telling my relatives across India to promote this Chandigarh based business. As the nephew of Kapil Dev, I look forward to showing my new ink to all my relatives and friends across India and Australia.

Thanks again Akshay! You are a great human, a giant amongst men and an exceptionally talented Tattoo Artist. Many thanks to the whole Immortal team, and allowing me to play my playlists whilst visiting from down under Australia. I HIGHLY recommend this studio.

I look forward to getting more ink done when I am next in India.
